At least six Fox News contributors have reportedly signed on to an open letter opposing the comprehensive immigration reform legislation currently being debated in the Senate. Fox News, which has admitted it is the “voice of opposition” on certain issues, has long ignored and even fostered such unethical behavior from its personalities.

It was just ten days ago that Stephen Hayes of  The Weekly Standard  reported “fresh evidence emerged that senior Obama administration officials knowingly misled the country about what had happened in the days following the assaults” last September on U.S.

By all accounts, the Heritage Foundation study that would have been the conservative media’s cudgel to defeat comprehensive immigration reform a second time is all but rotting in the ground, buried under accusations of anti-immigrant and race-based bias.

Breitbart.com is promoting the theory that Hitler was secretly gay, playing into one of the most extreme and damaging anti-gay smears in right-wing politics: that gay men were responsible for the Holocaust. In a May 9 post, Breitbart.com touted ” new evidence ” that Hitler was gay, citing a  Washington Examiner   article  that highlighted notes taken from interviews with several of Hitler’s doctors. The “evidence” of Hitler’s alleged homosexuality includes the claims that Hitler took female hormones and did not sleep in the same bedroom as his girlfriend and eventual wife, Eva Braun: There is new evidence that Adolph Hitler was  gay .

Robert Gates is calling out conservatives for the “cartoonish impression of the military” they promote when baselessly criticizing the Obama administration for not sending additional support during the September attack on diplomatic facilities in Benghazi, Libya. Right-wing media have often criticized the administration for what Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan termed their decision to “do nothing” in the face of the attack, with some suggesting that by failing to send additional troops or fighter jets to respond, President Obama had deliberately “sacrificed Americans” as a “political calculation.” But Gates, who served as Secretary of Defense during the Bush and Obama administrations, debunked these claims and explained that he would have made the same decisions, during his May 12 interview on CBS’ Face the Nation . Gates explained that he “would never have approved sending an aircraft” due to fears it would get shot down, and that he would not have approved sending Special Forces due to a lack of information about what was happening on the ground: GATES: I think the one place where I might be able to say something useful has to do with some of the talk of the military response.

ABC News is buying into right-wing scandal mongering over the tragic September 2012 attacks on a U.S. diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya, with an “exclusive” report that doesn’t stand up to minimal scrutiny, with flaws that are being used by the right to call for a major investigation

The crew at Fox & Friends can’t handle the fact that government documents are beginning to acknowledge same-sex couples, blaming the “P.C. Police” for new, gay-inclusive language on federal student aid forms. In April, the U.S.
